Grant Assessment Process (GAP) - Dec24 Resources

The December 2024 Grant Assessment Process (Dec24 GAP) Team held an information session regarding the process yesterday.  I have attached for your information the slide deck presentation. The policy guidance information on time extensions will be available here U24-14826 - Available Resources. Program 1.2 and Program 1.4 are finalising their Policy Guidance and will be available at this link soon.

 

I would also like to bring to your attention that all activities in the Dec24 GAP are eligible for funding under the National Redress Scheme.

 

The GAP team have provided some more advice and links regarding the Dec24 GAP which are below (please make sure you read all relevant documents before asking questions to the GAP team).

 

Information Session

An Information Session was held in 08 August 2024 regarding the December 2024 GAP.  This was recorded and uploaded to Share hub for staff to review when needed.  GAP Information Session Presentation

 

Training

It is critical that all staff working on Dec24 GAP have access to FUSION.  Applications for access should be submitted IMMEDIATELY for any staff that do not currently have access.  Please contact the Grant Front Door on getting access Front Door Portal.

Timeline

The timeline for Dec24 GAP is agreed with the highest priority Key Performance Indicator (KPI) being the Notification to Providers.  The GAP Team will be constantly monitoring the timeline and escalating to the Senior Executives any slippages.  

 

Current Timeline for the Dec24 GAP link provided here U24-14828 - GAP Timeline.  There is no movement for the timeline to be extended so if you can’t meet those that activities will be removed from the GAP to be briefed separately. Below is a quick snap shot of that timeline:

Assessment stage in FUSION

Please make sure you follow the Completing the Grant Assessment task card when drafting the assessments in FUSION link provided here U24-14831 – Task cards for GAP.

 

FYI – there has been one slight change to the assessment part.  We have provided extra guidance on the Assessment and Value for Money Summary and what needs to be covered under this field in FUSION.

 

Note – Workshops will be held from 26 August 2024 to 30 August 2024 with the regions and policy team to finalise the recommendations before being EL2 endorsed (if required).

 

Endorse Stage in FUSION

Endorsement stage will now be completed by EL2’s in the regions. Please make sure you follow the Open and Endorse task card when completing this in FUSION U24-14831 – Task cards for GAP.

 

Recommendation Stage in FUSION

Recommendation stage will be completed by Admin Business Partnering (ABP) Team when they verify the base funding. ABP please make sure you follow the ABP to verify base funding task card when completing this in FUSION U24-14831 – Task cards for GAP.

 

Base Funding amounts

Base funding amounts have been calculated by the ABP team and link provided here to that document for assessors U24-14827 - Base funding.  This will be used to populate the dollar amounts in FUSION.
