ShareHub to Share+ Migration

Modified on Fri, 18 Oct, 2024 at 1:47 PM

See ya ShareHub - Share+ is coming

Share+ will soon replace ShareHub as NIAA's record management system.

Many of us are still using ShareHub as our central location to save digital records since we moved to One Network.

With Share+, we will be able to seamlessly share files, data, news and resources to collaborate within our teams across NIAA.

Share+ uses advanced features of Microsoft SharePoint Online to provide a more collaborative workspace.

The transition to Share+ will be a phased approach by branch, starting in October. It's expected the rollout will be finished in November. Your current files will remain accessible throughout the eight week rollout with the exception of the weekend of your groups migration.

What do I have to do?

Please ensure that by 5pm on the Friday before your scheduled migration you have cleaned up your records in ShareHub in preparation for their migration to Share+.

Please ensure any documents you are working on offline are checked back in to Sharehub before 5pm on the Friday before your scheduled migration.

Please see below the proposed dates for your Groups migration weekend below. ShareHub will still be accessible over your migration weekend, it will just be read only.

Keep an eye out for messages from ICTStrategyandSharedServices@niaa.gov.au in your inbox.

And join in the conversation over on your Group's MS Teams chat to have all your questions answered with the Share+ team. eg:

Training

On Monday morning of your migration week, a MS Teams training session will commence at 9am AEDT. During your training session, a training video will be played, followed by the opportunity for you to ask questions of the Share+ team. The entire training session will be recorded.

Time zones

For those people who reside in different time zones, or who cannot attend at this time, you do not need to login early to attend the training session. Instead, when you login following the training session, the recording will be there waiting for you to watch at your convenience. We encourage you to watch the recording as soon as possible so you can immediately start using Share+ to its full potential.
