GPS December 2022 system enchantments

Modified on Fri, 11 Nov, 2022 at 9:42 AM

The Community Grants Hub have advised of a considerable change to the look and feel of GPS.  These changes will be occurring in two separate tranches with the first being in December 2022 and the second in March 2023.  The changes will include moving to a three-column structure, applying a consistent layout across screens, reordering and relabelling fields and inserting more hyperlinks. This will reduce clicks, improve data entry and make key information more accessible.

From Sunday 4 December, the following screens will be changing:

  • Applications
  • Funding Rounds
  • Programs
  • Organisations

Please also be aware that if you have created any customised “Tab / Subtab orders” these will be reset and customised “list view column orders” will not change.

From Sunday 18 March, Tranche 2 will include changes to Agreements, Program Schedules, Activities, Reviews, Milestones and Payment Requests screens.  More information on Tranche 2 will be provided in February/March, in the lead up to its release.

Task Cards:  Unfortunately NIAA will not have access to GPS task cards or a test environment until the week after changes are implemented.  So we will start updating our versions as soon as they are available from CGH, with the intention of completing the Tranche 1 GPS task card updates by 21 December 2022.

Until then and to help all NIAA Users understand and prepare for the change, Community Grants Hub have prepared the attached supporting documentation that details the upcoming changes and the overarching project:

  • GPS Layout Enhancement fact sheet
  • Before and After screenshots
  • Detailed change documents
