NIAA CRM Release 15.0, 9-July-2025 deployed the NIAA Community Module in CRM.
Below is a summary and links to guidance of the Community Module in CRM.
Summary
Following two years of engagement across NIAA, with a focus on Regional Engagement Officers the Community Module was deployed into the CRM Production environment.
Benefit (Why)
NIAA business in Regional Offices is driven by a geographical location, place.
To support the recording, managing and reporting of stakeholder management data, users identified the need to improve NIAA Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with a Community Module in CRM.
The Community Module in CRM, is unique as there are intentionally limited input fields directly into the record, its primary role is to coordinate other data sets based on ILOC Community tabling for users to view the following records;
- Engagements
- Organisations
- Contacts
- Public Enquires
- Opportunities
Module = Entity Record, e.g. Organisation, Contact, Engagement, Opportunity & Grant Activities are all Entity Records.
ILOC = Indigenous Location, standard used by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
